Most IT Infrastructure organizations have dealt with and made decisions on tools for Enterprise Management.  But once those tools are implemented, it becomes clear that there are still manual or outdated systems to manage the interoperability between the various systems.  For example, when a Network or Systems Management tool is in production and it goes to escalate the event to an engineer for resolution, there is often a time lapse between the event and the resolution.  And in many cases the event is escalated to the Help Desk for assignment and escalation which can many times be manual.  This opens the door for dropped calls or delayed resolutions and could cost the company time and money.
